This management conference call is an embarrassment. A large number of fellow pilots are depressingly pathetic. This thing is going to pass.
Thank you to all of the "yes" voters for taking food off my table. At least you tried in vain to "save" your $hitty airline. Us junior guys would have been better off furloughed than such a pay cut that we have to choose between paying rent and buying groceries.

From: 7ER B...whatever that means.
What I got most from the call is that basically management does not see this as a concessionary contract at all (It's industry leading! Just ask 'em!
) nor do they think it will have a major impact on our quality of life. Give me a break guys. To me, it seems like they want us to subsidize the cost of Part 117 with our wallets. No thanks.

I would not chase an upgrade at TSA. I think the gravy train has stopped here for now. The future here is bleak with our 50 seaters. Not to mention the low QOL that you will have on reserve as senior FOs upgrade over you assuming you even upgrade quick. Seems like Mesa and psa are better deals now.

I have a good feeling the TA is going to fail huge...there is an upside to the future. Someone stated that jerry was going to or has already struck a deal with emirates as a codeshare partner. If this is true, which I'm not saying it is, that could be great news. Then we can become more independent and sale our own seats as well as fly bigger aircraft which in turn will pay us more. One thing for sure we have to get rid of the RJ's. Cost per seat mile is way to high...
