So, United has initiated a bunch of pre-cancels for us for this winter storm heading into northeast, but nothing on DL side? I'm guessing LGA/BOS is gonna be a mess.

I too believe there is a large silent majority in ATL that is voting yes. I've even heard several FOs claim within the confines of the cockpit "we need to save the company so I can upgrade". My prediction is it passes on the ASA side, and fails on the XJT side for an overall fail. But if it isn't an epic fail, the company will nave no motivation to greatly sweeten the deal.

Only had one FO who said he was a "Yes"- out of maybe 6 or 8 since voting really became an issue. He explained his reasoning, I explained mine. I dont think I changed his mind. Everybody has to vote their conscience, just hope everyone sees the situation for what it really is.
And I really hope that turnout is high - be right, be wrong but dont be apathetic!!!!

I hope he is wrong.

2 day of the New Year and already a staffing meltdown on the ERJ side. Mass cancellations due to "weather". Paying Captains 200% to fly as FO and FOs 200% while asking for concessions? And attrition is just a fraction of what it'll be in the coming months. 2014 will be VERY entertaining for XJT
