I guess we're not short FO's, since it looks like they terminated a -700 FO in ATL. But then again, he may be a pilot somewhere else and went back to their other job.

What's your logic? I heard some new trainees are not cutting it. But, once you make it to the line, they are alright.

I think they pushed back some upgrade classes until March just because we are short on FOs.

If they're short on FO's now (which they are... RED FLAG is up for the first part of Dec on the ERJ) wait til January rolls around....

They always use Terminated on Sked+ for people that leave the company. I don't think it was a disciplinary issue. There were no UORs. Plus it is very hard to get fired from here. Probably got a call from mainline (skywest).

Wasn't too sure. But last month, there were 2 other sick calls and a red "Chief Pilot Reviewed Absence" that was at the start of a reserve period. This person has only been online 2-3 months at most, so still on probation.

There is no logic! This company terminates people left and right, most times, you just don't hear about it. They also complain that senior pilots won't leave, but they hand out discipline like candy, ruining everyone's PRIA.

They give no consideration of the big picture when they do anything. Never have.

He is on RRR today. He had to have resigned, not been terminated.
