I wouldn't read that much into it. Yes they do actively fire pilots but if he was in fact fired why would they schedule it for a future date. I quit a few months ago and my schedule showed "terminated" just like everyone who quits does. Just be glad he doesn't have to be a reserve at ASA anymore.

Reserves are quitting faster than they can hire them. Ha. Can't wait till next summer with the rest rules. Going to be a fun time!

A lot of them are checking the 121 box and as soon as they prove they passed a civilian type training program.... Off they go! Good for them.

Guy I know went straight from new hire training to US Airways. They didn't even know he was at a 121 carrier yet (he was fractional before here). They called based on an app that was 4 months old.

Expressjet/ASA will be flying the CR9 on the new SEA-YVR route starting June 5. Wonder if this is just the usual delta connection shuffle or growth.

DL 5441 SEA 1035 - 1125 YVR D CR9
DL 5447 SEA 1325 - 1415 YVR D CR9
DL 5451 SEA 1625 - 1715 YVR D CR9
DL 5453 SEA 1915 - 2005 YVR D CR9

DL 5459 YVR 0615 - 0705 SEA D CR9
DL 5437 YVR 0910 - 1000 SEA D CR9
DL 5441 YVR 1200 - 1250 SEA D CR9

That's really odd... We'd have to be in SEA first. Wonder how it would flow out there. There's gotta be more to this. That or SkyWest is getting some of our flight number blocks

Edit: Sure enough, in DLNet, it shows "ExpressJet", I'm guessing this will change before then... it's still 6 months out

6 months is a lifetime for some airlines.

I wouldn't read too much into that. Flight schedules are very fluid until about 2 months out. Times, flight numbers, equipment, and DCI carriers can change quite a bit. Most likely the route planning folks arbitrarily picked some flight numbers to upload an initial schedule. These will be switched to SkyWest, Compass, or perhaps Endeavor since they started taking delivery of new 900's already.

Comair was doing some SEA and other northwestern flying a couple years ago. It flowed out of MSP. Are there any EV flights to SEA from MSP during the times of these flights?
