LOL.
"Right Choice over Mesa." -Hilarious
You'll get IAH 175 or DFW CR9 right out of training....
Also after 6 months at Mesa you'll be bidding above top 50% on the FO side in base.
Heck our most junior DFW CRJ CA is currently a Feb 2014 hire. And we're continuing to upgrade 30 a month indefinitey with only 1100 so on the senority list. Street CAs are only months away.
You guys at ASA/XJT are really detached from what is going on.
EJETs finish coming in the summer then the new CR9 start coming in the fall.

AND.....when those airplane deliveries are done, the bottom half of your list will be stuck in the right seat dreaming of upgrade while all the "me no speaky english" and failed checkride/DUI pilots Mesa hired over the phone will be stuck in the left seat for life since they can go nowhere else.

It's risky going to a place like Mesa. One little set back with a company that small and your plans for a quick upgrade are shot for good. Then you're stuck as an FO there.
If it works out and you get lucky more power to you but the history for companies growing too fast hasn't always been too favorable.

ASA's problem is that those in charge really believe the other regionsls can't staff and that the signing bonuses aren't really working.. when in fact they are. Meanwhile they offer a $7500 bonus if you have a type rating (because after taxes that makes first year pay affordable). Then when they can't fill classes they spin it by saying that "shrinking is a good thing for us"... They also believe that Expressjet really is better than the rest, when in reality a regional is a stepping stone. Nothing more. In short, their heads are up their butts.

Umm the guy who got fired from Mesa recently is already at gojet. Me and several guys in my class could have gone to any regional. If you have ATPS mins and a pulse every regional will hire you right now. You must not be very in tune to the state of the regionals right now. Or are like facebiter and plug your ears and start screaming.

Is everyone who was so worried about the attrition data happy now that it is out for the month of March? Has your life all of a sudden changed as a result? Does the publishing of attrition data mean that your bank account will suddenly have an extra $120K in it?
Exactly...it doesn't change anything.
Why people are so obsessed with that data baffles me. I've said it before and I'll say it again: FOs hired after 7/2007, you have little to almost zero chance of ever upgrading. We lose 25+ per month and yet everyone goes backwards or stays the same in bidding. Become a part of these attrition stats, not just a casual viewer of them!!
