Inflation numbers used to be very simple. It was the difference between the cost of a sample of actual goods (called a market basket) from one month to the next-and the increase thereof.

'Value of innovation' is a completely made up number. The fact that they now exclude almost all commodities is also a scam. The VOI is the biggest factor. The govt can adjust it any way they want to hide inflation as much as they like. It's a 100% scam, and it started under Bill Clinton. No one has changed it since then-because they don't want to be made to look like the guy who made inflation go nuts..... But the way it's calculated now is 100% wrong-it does not measure real-world inflation at all.

So.... Moral of the story here is-go and do some actual reading about economics before you look like a moron.

I heard some of your CRJs have VNAV. Which tails have that?

 

The ones to be turned over to you. Enjoy. It’s not that useful, but fun on occasion when the scenario allows it.

The VNAV was a test by the FAA. It wouldn't surprise me if they take the VNAV out of the 3 tails before they go to 9E. The system is ok and works well, but only having it in 3 airframes limit its usefulness.
