You hate seeing a good group like the LASA guys getting screwed over like this? Is this a prevalent sentiment at Skywest? Because I would make a small wager that a majority would rather see all the pilots at both of the xjt pilot groups go through this than to merge the three groups together. These sentiments are hallow and cheap when those with them could've, and still can do something about it.

Not realy XJT MEC signed that away without the majority of OO pilots even knowing that. We thought there would eventually be a merger. Then we found out that XJT agreed not too...

Actually, from what I was told by a credible source, the president of the student council has been approached a few times about a 3 way integration, to which he essentially replied "Over my dead body". FWIW....

sounds like the term student council didn’t mean what I thought it meant.

For those of you that can look past the way SkyWest crapped all over XJT/ASA, then there is also this to look at.

AND NO, I do not work for or recruiting for any airline. Just check out who is on the bottom.

That was a cop out of a reply. It speaks for itself.

Its the Truth. XJT mec could have said “go pound sand.. thats what our contract says...”. But they didn’t.. we would be 8000 pilots strong right now...

If we had said that there would've been no merger! That might've been a good thing but we will never know!!!

If the Mighty Skywest was amicable to a merger they would've shared any progress or the lack there of. And if they wanted it, it would've happened. Another thing that bothers me is the fact you say most were unaware? How does this happen when these pilots/people are under the same umbrella? That's solidarity at its finest right there.
