Let's not forget the ASA pilots took a stand and held firm for too long on work rules and a contract. Their union wouldn't play ball and refused to look at anything with a change in bidding software. Don't think for a second that it's poor ASA and bid Delta behind the curtain pulling the strings. The ASA pilots made a stand and they're living with the consequences. The time to negotiate has passed. The time to leave...... now.
Re: 9E and their bases and who holds what how fast out of training; it doesn't matter, 9E is a better option than XJT by 1000%. 9E has a guaranteed movement mechanism via the DAL interview program, a 2 year upgrade (or less) and a stable future...I can't believe I'm saying it but there is literally no reason why a prospective pilot looking to start/grow/continue and one day advance to a major should choose ASA/XJT, literally not one.

You're forgetting to mention that the ERJ ExpressJet pilot group wasn't exactly helpful either when it came to the bidding software "issue" that started circa 2011-2012. There is a lot of blame to go around but to shame the ASA pilot group for taking a stand on what was a horrible TA is overreaching IMO. You are right about one thing, it is time to leave...
You're forgetting to mention that management offered to run two separate bidding systems for a whole contract cycle before the pilots determine which one to go with on the next contract. And then management said they were willing to run two seperare bidding systems in perpetuity to appease the ASA MEC. Lets face it, the union is a democracy. And one side was too afraid to let majority rule. So there is plenty of blame to go around, that's for sure. But I don't think any of that has anything to do with what's happening anyway.

Word at Endeavor is that we are not taken the rest of the 200s. Is EV keeping them or is OO grabbing them? Good luck to y'all. I hate what OO and Skywest are doing to the crj side. I JS often to ATL and have only had great experiences on EV. Thank you!

The only thing we know is that by October(ish) there won't be a single one at ASA.

The main reason these 200's are coming off line at XJT is because they could not work out a profitable CPA with the mainline partners (Delta). If they go to Skywest Airlines you can pretty much deduce the plan was to transfer aircraft all along. If Inc. can't negotiate a profitable CPA at XJT but can somehow do so at SKY, I wouldn't be surprised at all.

As for the 200s. They will not be around after 01012020. The new ADS-B mod for 200 is $$$$. I would bet that they will park them just prior to that date.
These things are baked a long time before they take place. Now the question is what are they, DAL, going to do to replace 200 flying.
Talk amongst yourselves.
