Endeavor has recently been awarding captain positions to pilots with the minimum 121 time. There's been a few that were awarded captain while they were still in initial and it looks like it will continue for the foreseeable future. 9E also loves guys with prior CRJ time and there's been a pretty solid rumor we'll be opening an ATL base soon. PM me if anybody would like a referral or has questions.

Agreed. Most of our FO's have a few thousand hours of turbine time. No need to start over at another regional at the bottom of the list and pay scale. Lest we forget that furloughed ALPA pilots have priority in getting hired at other ALPA carriers; both legacy and LCC.

Eh kinda. They said there is no communication from managment regarding the future of the company so "do what is best for you and your family". Then managment sent out an email saying that was irresponsible without providing any details on how they plan on retaining pilots. Then the union sent an email with links to who is hiring. We have ourselves a bit of a fight going on but I am not sure how much time or patience I have for this shenanigans. 5 year FO here and after my vacation months are up in March it is put or shut up and I am gone.

It looks to me like they are pretty much saying that.
(I feel bad for folks who still work there. A LOT of really great people...... But yep, I think things are headed in an ominous direction. ASA has a seniority problem. It's tough to stay in business competing against a whole bunch of other regionals with 1/5 the average seniority.)
I hope there are a few more years of flying available, but it's very obvious that Delta is gonna bail as soon as the ATL connection contract is up.
