11 soon to be poor miserable souls. Yeah they値l initially be happy that they have a job and initially accept their below industry wages working one if not the toughest airline schedule in the airline industry. But they will soon ride the crew bus next to a wide body CA or FO bragging about their paycheck or their latest toys they just bought. Then they値l see new hires get hired directly into the wide body seats as the company exploits Chapter 24. But they値l be eligible for Passover Pay IF and only if they bid every wide body seat at 100% on the next bid.

I sat sideways for 4 years after I got hired, much of it on reserve. Then 3 years in the right of seat of a 727, then I finally got to a wide body seat at year 8. Recently, we have had new hires go directly to the right seat of a wide body on date of hire. Not all, but quite a few.
I am sure these "unlucky" new hires will be more than happy to sit in the right seat of the 757 until they can move up.
Yes, they will fly some of our harder schedules, but we all have to pay our dues.
I am sure they would rather be working hard than on the street.
If they really don't like it here, they can go somewhere else. I am sure we will find someone eager to replace them.

I was actually just kidding because the poster who put the class drops didn稚 put 757F, just 757. I was hired into the 757 and flew it for a year and a half. It痴 an awesome plane. Sure, it does mostly night flying, but it put hair on my chest and helps me appreciate the daytime side of the operation even more now.
