TC is in full press disinformation mode attempting to recall our reps- some of the best we have ever had. This is a false narrative Tony and you know it.

Your use of quotes in the above paragraph is an attempt to place words in people’s mouths that have never been said. Why else would you use quotes? Certainly not for satire or hypotheticals. You are too smart for that or at least your APC constituency believes that to be true.

Please correct me if I’m wrong and provide the article, video or Union message to prove you’re correct. I’m sure you will try to have some half witted answer for not providing it.

So the “pathetic” award goes to your false use of quotes to make people believe that was actually said when you know full well you can’t attribute that to any Block Rep or Negotiating Committee member.

You are kidding right? Serious question. You have never been told by your ALPA Rep that the A plan is too expensive and the company wants to be rid of it? I have heard that from my current and former block rep. Have you asked your rep?

 

Ive heard specifically the Company hasn’t ever proposed at the bargaining table to increase/improve our pension. I’ve heard firsthand that there’s a difference of opinion about the Company’s willingness to improve it but history tells us they have shown no interest.

Never have I heard a rep or negotiating committee member say that it can never be improved or that it’s too expensive to improve.

That’s my only point.

 

Are you kidding me? Do you think that the company proposed increasing our pay at the negotiating table or do you think it is the NC and the company proposes a counter offer? Exactly what improvements to our contract that are at the sole benefit of the pilots do you think the company proposes?

I have been told directly from several reps that the current A plan is too expensive to improve. One even told me that a small $20K increase would cost the company over $2 billion. I asked for supporting information on that number and all I got was crickets. I also asked how that number compared to the cost of the PSPP and was told that it is apples and oranges, so they wouldn't answer. Seems to me that the MEC and NC have picked their plan and now they just need to sell it.

If a simple majority is fine with you when ratifying a contract, why not let the members attempt a recall and see where the chips fall? I would support a recall of my LEC, they are a joke.

Tony is right. His reps, as well as others, are not listening. Which is why there is a process to remove them.

Show me where the reps have been willing to talk with us about NOT supporting PSPP. Show us the reps demand LOCAL council meetings. SHOW us the reps, and the MEC in total, not hiding behind Executive Session and having unrecorded straw polls in executive session so we can't find out what they are up too.

They have a legal fiduciary duty to fight for best value.

You can't lie to Tony or myself, we have seen too much. That is why we are using the system, to correct those errors.

I will attest that I personally have had current and past elected representatives state basically the same statement not word for word but the idea is the same of “the company will never improve the A plan it is too expensive for them and companies are getting rid of traditional pensions not improving them. Some have also stated that if it ever went to arbitration the arbitrator would throw it out because no other airline has one”. I will not give names in a public forum but feel free to PM me.

 

No one needs to source anything, reference your emails and ask your reps. Don't pull that stupid game, you just want to source so you can rat his ass out and put him on the blackball list with our esteemed MEC.
Fire the MEC and get ready for another Lawsuit when we lose our A-Plan. ALPA will pay to keep our mouths shut because they don't want the corruption exposed. Just like thy paid out last time. What about the FedEx pilots who retired and left for the investment company who will take over our hybrid A-plan. Our A-plan is history, and the company knows it. Bets the MEC will get busses and have $500 lunches and travel to world, while we get ignored. FIRE THEM NOW.
Get ready for another lawsuit when our MEC rolls over and makes it mandatory for the vaccine, I have flown with a few of the MEC who want the experimental gene therapy mandated. Sue their asses and pull away from ALPA. We pay enough in dues to have our own, so what do we have to lose.
The MEC are liars and continue to spread the lies they want you to believe in your emails. The MEC does nothing to represent any of us, only what they can add to their own bank account.

 

You are right, we should just roll over. The MEC has been full of crap about the A plan. We can get the A plan we deserve but it won't be with the union leadership we have. We have record loads and have been for a year and a half. When guys just fly BLG and not work extra, the company will see our resolve. Its not that hard to get what we want. If it wasn't for 9/11 and the major airlines filing for bankruptcy, the majors would still have a pension and the issue of FedEx not being able to afford it would be mute. The company can afford it.
