Once again we go played!!! The union should have made that move since May. This just bought the company time to get through peak.

Why don't you know this? Are you really a heavy purple pilot? The union has communicated this extensively. There is a great website you can go to and see week by week what they worked on.

If you truly are a FedEx pilot and you don't know, shame on you! YOU ARE THE PROBLEM HERE. And I am not trying to be decisive because I am right.

Get involved. Sign up for text caster and the emails. Call or email your reps.

Calm down boss, it was a rhetorical question. IIRC only 3 sections were TA'd by May22. Not nearly enough to get to expedited mediation so the claim we got played and should have done this then is rediculous. Trust me, I'm not the problem but it makes you feel better you can say I am.

It was a comment by StarClipper. So take that with a grain of salt too. Also only commented AFTER the NC update was published here. Every actual FedEx pilot received that email much earlier.

As another poster pointed out many sections have been TAd since May. Would mediation have been prudent in May if progress was being made? No it would not. Would expedited mediation even have been an option in May? No seems to be the answer due to the large amount of open items at that point.

Who got played is us as a pilot group who feed at the draft/ava trough all along incentivizing the company to not move on the large financial sections. Greed got in the way of unity for the majority.

Each party to Expedited Mediation can bring up to 12 Major Issues to the Expedited Mediations negotiations, for a total of 24 Major Issues. Considering the sharp focus of this CBA negotiations, we should have been down to this short of a list many, many months ago.

We HAVE been played.

I am by no means an expert, but my understanding is both sides have to agree to expedited mediation. I know you are going to default to being critical but I get it you are running for block rep. I’m not in to going 6 rounds with the Tony and Brian show. Good luck with your election, thanks for stepping up.

You are correct, sir. However, either side alone can petition the NMB for (other than expedited) mediation.
