I guess I'm not following. What options?

FedEx has pilots hired into every seat (at least they did when they were hiring), so a junior pilot could stay a widebody FO or make a little more flying the left seat of the narrow-body. Or, stay senior on the junior airplane. I saw dudes that were below 50% seniority in the right seat still on probation.

I was activated in the left seat at 26 months on property. Until I could hold widebody captain at around 4-5 years, I made more money than I would have if I had stayed a widebody FO.

I wish we did have pay parity, but it's not as bad a deal as people think thanks to what you are mentioning...

Yeah I'm neither for it or against it. It is what it is.

We have real issues to worry about for this next contract and this isn't one of them.

I guess that's the real issue... It's that we had other priorities like retirement.

yeah right, I hope so, because you are way behind us on pay and retirement, raise the bar for all of us.

Our retirements are basically a wash right now, with ours most likely set to improve a good bit. Our QOL items in IMHO are better than yours and our vacation is the best in the industry. Yep, you have higher pay rates currently. We will surpass them.

We all do the same job, so instead of being a wanker, why not be sincere and hope we get an incredible contract. You know, rising tide etc etc etc.

We are way ahead on vacation yours doesn’t come close, our a plan is 20% higher (30 instead of 25)

and 3 or 4% higher on the b plan, and compensation is about 10% higher , I really hope you guys leapfrog us by a lot but as you can see
there is ground to make up, good luck we all hope it is everything you guys deserve.

.Am I incorrect that your current Flat dollar amount is $4200 and a max of 30 years? Maybe I misunderstand it but that is a maximum of $126k. We currently exceed that at 25 years. Your B fund is 3% higher. I assume you don’t understand our vacation section. However as you stated, there’s room to catch up, I have no inside information but based on our stated goals I expect we will do very well with this TA.

I believe 4400 going to 4650 by 2025 so 30 yrs is 139500, we don’t have the 260k irs cap written into our contract.

Hope the TA has the $200K A-Plan after 25 years rumor to be true. So we all can retire and let the upward movement begin.
