I agree with UA.
Well, since it was one of our core NC goals, I expect them to fix it.

Why do you say it will only benefit the people with 25 years? Won't the younger crowd be eligible for it eventually also?

The pension should be fixed and we should have industry leading hourly rates of pay at a bare minimum. If the TA doesn’t include those two things, at a bare minimum, it shouldn’t even get past the MEC.

I can give you the details on the Purple TA.

1. No Scope improvement.
2. Work rule concessions.
3. Pay lagging DL/AA.
4. Industry leading retirement*.

*if you already have 25+ YOS

This is another sellout of junior pilots to fatten the pockets of senior pilots on their way out.
Unfortunately you might be right. But I don’t mind being deplorable, or whatever the term was used to describe those that want more than just retirement fixed for those on the way out. If a “No” vote is needed, what’s another few months for exponential gains over the first offer?

DL has roughly 110 top pay WB aircraft. Even at 15 pilots per plane (which is generous), 3,000 is not even remotely close, more like 1,600 total pilots on top WB pay. Facts, what a concept.

Why the need for the “my d*** is bigger than yours” statements? We will most definitely fall way behind Purple in the very near future, and to make it worse we are gonna have to wait 3-4 years just catch up. When we achieve a TA, Fedex will be negotiating a new one and we will fall behind once again. The first extension was a no brainer, the second was a humongous mistake. As some have mentioned here, we gave away any possibility of improvements for raises that barely top Fedex 2015 wages and have not kept up with inflation. We are so ********, completely self induced.

this is the most ridiculous justification for us accepting substandard wages. The fleet mix is irrelevant. This job is more difficult and generates more revenue than that one does. We should be making a premium over what they make. After a recent week long run of night hub turns with a 2 hour turn accepting anything less is asinine.

What the hell is wrong with yall?!! a week of that is way more demanding than some occasional one leg red eye.

As I have said before If we do not have industry leading pay WITHOUT EQUIVOCATION I am a hard no.I don't care what they do to retirement if the contract is concessionary. We will have to defend that "gain" in every future contract not gonna give anything away now knowing that.

Maybe read what I actually said, in context. I didn’t say pilots at the top pay rate, I said pilots on top paying aircraft. Specifically in response to, and in the the context of, the post I quoted about the number of UA WB pilots.

Huh? Would you like to reconsider this ridiculous assertion?

Currently Delta has 113 aircraft at the top of the scale. They are staffed at about 18 Captains per airframe because of high utilization and work rules that require two Captains on any flights over 12 hours. In addition a significant number of pilots on other aircraft at Delta are paid the top of scale rate as a result of being bypassed for training. Another group gets top of scale in the training department. In total 3000 May not be that far off.
