Do you really believe that? I don't and I have a strong feeling this TA isn't going to meet my expectations. Yes there are those among us who are willing to ACCEPT less. Doesn't mean they are OPPOSED to those increases. Don't be obtuse, doesn't help our cause

My block reps views may not be aligned with mine. Time will tell.

Amazing the insight posters have about whats in the TA. Glad some can decide the TA sucks without even know whats in it. TA is going to pass.

I hope its an easy yes vote, however I’m also confident it will be voted down if necessary.

Quote: The Purple pilots attacking our fellow pilots at other airlines are simply preparing a smoke screen to distract from the dud of a TA coming our way. This is part of ALPA’s plan. Many of them are likely committee volunteers angling for further FPL by getting in the good graces of their overlords on the MEC and NC. They are looking out for themselves not for the pilot group they are a part of.

You mean like the purple pilot here attacking other purple pilots allegedly attacking purple pilots. 🤔

We haven’t seen the TA. You’ll get your vote just like everybody else. It may pass. Might not.

You’re giving yourself a tummy ache with all this constant conjecture on what a TA will or will not have.

Quote: Don't think that's going anywhere. Having a junior airplane gives one options. How many two year 757 Captains does UPS have?
what’s that have to do with flying the same stuff for 30% less pay!?

Some of us have insight because we have stayed in constant communication with our reps. There will be work rule concessions. The pay rates will not be industry leading. Section 1 will not offer any increased job protections in a time that outsourcing is on the rise. If you only care about the A plan then I’m sure you’ll vote yes. If I am wrong I will post a mea culpa for all to read.

all you have to do is say no, this is the best environment to negotiate in that we have seen for decades, FedEx has made 10’s of billions off of you, time to get some of it back, good luck

Quote: This is simply not true, very far from it, in fact about half your silly number of 18 Captains per airframe. Delta has 1,095 (roughly) Captains in the top pay scale (which includes the 765), look it up, easy info to find. 1,095 / 118 aircraft is about 9.5 captains per plane. They do require 2 full crews if over 12 hours. But Delta doesn’t have that many flights over 12 hours, and anything between 8 and 12 (lots of those), requires just one relief FO.

Gotta love it when people make up fictional numbers.
Delta staffs domestic narrow bodies at about 7.5 pilots per seat and the airframes run 7 to 8 hours daily utilization. International airframes average about 15 to 16 hours daily utilization and sometimes have two Captains.

+1

If the company wants to Drive and shrink then they should have to pay dearly for those who remain. This job is hard on a body. We shouldn't accept less than we've been told we deserve.
