I've done the same and gotten beaten every time. Atomic clock, .5 seconds prior hit submit, and still get time stamped. I don't know if someone has a program that can beat it or maybe being in Memphis closer to the servers? Either way I don't even bother with open time release anymore. Not worth the hassle.

There it is. We found the guy who doesn't want to pay the yearly subscription to fxcal, bidx or acrobid. "That is cheating, they're using bots." You still do it old school, take 5 minutes to enter your contingency drop in VIPS. By then not only is that trip gone, the scraps they traded out of are gone.

UTC is the legal basis of time in the world. UTC is itself derived from International Atomic Time (TAI) from which it differs only by a whole number of seconds, currently 32.
32 seconds is a deal killer!

Just FYI, we're not the only airline that uses 3rd-party programs. I'd venture to say nearly EVERY AA pilot at one point in their career was paying $21 to Lite Sabre.

Pre-merger, NWA had some neat 3rd party programs, such as automated JS booking and OT alerts, but those all went away after the merger. One guy tried to keep his going, but the Company said nope.
There were a few programs that the one permitted vendor ran, but they eventually pulled the plug. In any event, all they did was sort trips and help you organize your bids. There was no open time alerting.
One part of the premium time system at DAL does use an app alerts called ARCOS. The app or phone notifies you, and you can select trips and raise your hand for them. It's all processed in seniority order.
