The 4 member club who just couldn't get enough of the givebacks during 2015 contract they sold with everything they had. So they had to come back with a vengance to sell TA2023 .
Now, just coming across as absolute sore losers for not succeeding in selling away our QOL, scope, pay, retro bonus, etc., etc., etc...

Your ignorance has cost me $78,236 so far. Destined to be far more.

All I know is that my plans to retire before 60 have basically evaporated into a fantasy land of “we’ll have all kinds of great leverage if we vote TA1 down and the company comes crawling to us with whatever we ask for in TA2”. How’s that working out so far? I can’t keep up…do we actually have functional MEC yet or are we still recalling people every meeting? Speaking of recall, I seem to recall lots of promises about openness and constant communication from the incoming reps. That seems to have gone the way of our “leverage”. Never thought I’d see anyone cheering about getting paid rates we negotiated 10 years ago, but here we are. Apparently stagnation is victory. Meanwhile, not sure anyone has noticed, but the company is making all kinds of decisions about reducing the size of our flying operation and seems pretty happy they don’t have to pay us more while they do it. Win win for them. 🎉🎉 At least someone is happy.
See you around the flagpole boys. I’m stuck here until I turn 60 because I very much doubt we’ll see a new TA in the next 2.5 years. The only real question I have is whatever happened to those dudes in this forum who talked endlessly about how our leverage going forward was going to make everyone rich. Things like peak and the postal contract. Vote no now because the company NEEDS us to have a contract. I don’t see them posting at all anymore. I wonder if they were management. They certainly did heavy lifting to keep us stuck with 10 year old pay rates and retirement. And now…silence. In the faint distance I can almost hear the fading echoes of “in unity”.
Now stand by for Anthrax to step in with 1990s vintage mom jokes. He’s like our contract negotiations. Reliably stale and stagnant.

You pretty much hit it. There's nothing wrong with voting No on a contract if our Union had a plan. Now we are just drifting. Lots of things have changed, USPS contract gone. But I'll keep saying this, plenty of pilots worked extra during negotiations and here we are. For some reason our pilot group thinks helping the company during a boom period helps the pilots trying to get a contract. So day flying disapperaing in October. New bid in the fall, guess what, dump and flush. Lots of junior guys getting realainged with where they should be, 75 FO. But hey, they majors are hiring, or are they? TA1 is going to be a dream you wish you could have now. And Josie is your worst enemy. This guy is in it for himself.
