It seems like they say that EVERY month? Maybe the update is for the Mediator's benefit so that it looks like we're trying out best to get a mutual agreement?

It seems to me we are in the stage where the guys who go to the meeting are not the guys that make the decision. Give them a chance to go back and fourth. Another couple of weeks and we will know whether Fred wants a deal or is stringing us along. I can wait.

Sounds like the negotiating committee/ MEC are either going to have to agree with items they do not like or say no and go to the next step. I am ready are you?

Will you support the MEC and negotiating committee if we have to move on?

Kind of a moot point in that there really isn't an alternative. If that sounds like lukewarm support of the MEC, it isn't. But at this stage of the game, the vote on whose side members are on is over. Bets are placed and the game is on. The only real outcome is an eventual TA that we can all vote on. We've waited a long time. Both sides know the stakes of stretching this out. If I actually could pick sides at this point, I think my team is in the best position and getting better each week. It would make no sense to switch teams now.

Is there a part of "give them a chance" that makes you think I am not a Teamplayer?

FDXLAG, I should have used "crew force" instead of you. I directed it everyone that reads APC and has skin in this game.
I do not question your loyalty.

Well in that case yes I am ready, but I can wait a couple of weeks to find out if we are just being strung along.

Really? There is doubt in your mind whether management wants a deal? After all this time?

I thought we'd agreed on almost every section of the contract. What could this be about?

I am on record as saying 2017 at the earliest. Of course that was before they gooned up the hiring. We pay 2% to let someone else worry about how close we are or aren't. I'll wait patiently for them to tell me one way or the other.
