XoJet is probably one of the better part 135 companies out there. While our pay may not be the best I believe we have the best quality of life and awesome pilots to spend a week on the road with. We are a comparatively smaller pilot group and everyone tends to know each other. Been here about 4 years and have enjoyed my time so far. This flying is not for everyone, but you will get to see a lot of cool places and maybe some not so cool places. Also the pay that is advertised, you can plan on adding $5,000-$7,000 on top of that for soft pay not including per diem, we get $80 a day use or lose for meals. Feel free to drop me a message for any questions you may have. Goodluck!

Yeah, that major airlines are hiring our pilots. There's lots of attrition right now, and not because people don't like flying for XOJet. Sure, pay and retirement contributions could be better but at the end of the day it is a great place to work.

I’ll chime in here. I also agree XO is a great company to work for. I’ve worked for a couple other 135 operators, and this place is MUCH better comparatively. I haven’t worked for netjets or flexjet, but the morale on their forums sounds pretty poor.
We are losing a ton of pilots, just like every other company that isn’t a major airline or dream 91 job.
Pay and retirement need improvement, no doubt about it. To give them credit, they have been making meaningful (reactive, not proactive) improvements every year for the past several years.

Eire,
How did the phone screen go?
I just finished reading all 121 pages here in anticipation of my phone screen.
Any pointers or what to expect is greatly appreciated.
Lastly, did someone just call during one of the times you provided or did they notify you so as to expect a call at that time?
Thanks
