High altitude/swept-wing aerodynamics, high altitude weather, IFR procedures, some conceptual questions about CG and stability, probably more. No 727 flight planning or weight and balance and no spaghetti charts. I used Sheppard Air. They knew about this part of the interview and gave a discount because I had used them previously. They had narrowed down the question bank to what's relevant. Well worth it!

When I’m wrong I’m wrong, and I’m not afraid to admit it. Good call bro! Nailed the situation early on.

I’m getting wind of a pilot new hire class starting in either July or August anyone have any info on this. With the company not extending LOA18 they seem to be moving on to more of a recovery mode. Just heard it from a credible source so wanted to see if others have heard mumblings as well.

Yes, I’ve been hearing same. They class was likely in fall though. Who knows.

This is BS! I deserve to be paid to do nothing!

On a serious note, we were still running less than 50% of our normal flights as of yesterday. And TSA numbers are only 25% of normal, so I'm not so sure how soon we will be hiring again

well made points, no doubt; but while it appears some airlines are planning to shrink; we seem very much to be positioning to pick up flying. TSA numbers show a small (and thankfully growing) pie, but I think we’re gunning for a much larger slice than before the apocalypse..

Pretty sure training and Recruiting have come out and shut this down quickly. They were "hopeful" for Spring/Summer next year. Worst part is, that included upgrades as well.
