Just drop in your application and find out. I really hope someone in a forum wouldn’t be able to persuade you to not apply by telling you that you would not get an interview with those numbers.

To all the people that's coming from 135 flying experiencing! Especially folks with 1900 pic 135 experiences. You should apply to the big 3 ! F9 will hire you eventually but they prefer the cadet's.
F9 Mgt. prfer the cadet's since they will have too stay at a minimum of 3 yrs or longer! ! This endless supplies of cadets ,! = No leavage for the current f9 pilots that's been and plans too sun set there's career at F9 . Every New hire @ F9; knows that their "goal Is to used F9 as a bridge to the B-3 ! I don't blame them , we all would have done the same, if at the time , when I was applying a cadets program had existed! F9 wants it that way , and now are able to plans and there apply business model as such. The bussiness it's day turns !
F9 plans to hire 30:40: 50 a month as "they - F9 " able do turns and essentially completes a total transformation of the entire F9 pilots group into all Reserved no matter how long you been here !
People complaining there's No open times ; the main reasons was somehow the union leadership at that time and some of the current unions negotiated agree to getting ride off open time and the mini open time base on seniority ! Now you have first come or your friends to grab it and hold give it for there's friends ! For those of you like me , who was hired before the contract will know what I'm referencing too when mentioning open times the on the 14th and 16th , ! Many of us at that time didn't come to f9 to get Flying experience So that we could leaves ! Many came from the regionals when we had routinely do 3 -4 a legs a day, So it's refreshing not to fly ) once I got here, plus we didn't make any money at that time ; Many of US viewed F9 So as our " Big 3" So we had " Skin" the the game meaning we were invested minded to make f9 into something similar paid wise, 401K LT dis , Vaca , medical etc. To be fair , prior to the big 3 new contracts.... And our type of fly model was different too as to part the quality of life offen speak off- ! One had options to swapped trips in open times . As a commuter I may need to swaps so that I don't have to paid for a hotel I remember those old days, you had pages of open times for alll the bases as acompared to the Delta United , even AA for QOL ! in mind optional , one of the main reasons that the F9 mgt came to the table with an offer at that time, F9 had run out off Applicatns on filed to pull from And we were also in the initially phase of receiving alll the new airplanes and prior to Delta , United needing aircrafts and that time, and noe they are able swap slots and lease aircraft's from F9 As F9 wants to wants model a leasing company Not really in the models of traditional airlines were PAX are the main Bread and Butter ... a little bite, YES! ,. I'm sure there's others reasons .... and also as a new hired , we started out @ $39 bucks a hr! ... side note= why would F9 needs to negotiate... ! These alll examples of all currents F9 pilots are working with ! Unions to some how negotiate for a contract ! Not easy, many points are missed self induced !
That's my options only !
Continue with reasons for the why "hiring with experiences and No contract any time soon!
I think, going forward , you will get more of the Big. 3 WH Regional F/O"s to apply knowing that it's a much quicker to go though F9 and a get hired by the Big 3 then sticking around and wait for the flow!
To wrapped it up about if you are comparative's or not . to get hire !
The more experienced you have the better off you will be as you started at f9 .! The training dept are to tran with Only 25 multi engine time and no turbine experience,! You will be good ,!
I think F9 realized that the guys with experiences will most likely leave quicker than the cadets who had 25 hr multi times ! The only gotcha now, I think F9 have rewords a contract that's allow them to enforce it if you leave before it's up ! F9 mgt are not naive !
In conclusion = I apologize in advance for poor writing and broken English, run on sentences , Grammatical, punctuation, anything that may "trigger " someone or anyone.... ✌🏻
No excuses, but ya, English are my 4th language... 😳

Management has said that frontier is a stepping stone airline and they are fine with this. Just listen to Barry, "we're not worried about Pilot staffing because our guys have nowhere to go when the big 3 aren't hiring" They quite literally believe anyone who comes here to stick it out for a career are schmucks.

Why Frontier? Why would anyone with experience want to come here today? Do you live in a domicile? If not you'll be commuting to all day turns. Quick upgrade? Eh maybe but enjoy SJU then getting displaced immediately once you get out. Why would anyone with an experienced background not just stay where they are, upgrade, and apply to the Big 3? You want to come here and make 100k less than everyone else?

I guess you haven't been doing much of your research. Hiring in general has come to screeching dlow down. The landscape is normalizing itself. Going back to the old days where they hired less than 1000 pilots a year.

well 2024 was certainly slow for everyone, but with AA announcing a plan for a decent hiring year and F9 announcing 40 per class for the foreseeable future when there past year had class cancellations how did you get to that conclusion?
