Well see here's my question...if you have a flow and your company isn't letting anyone flow due to staffing levels (or the fact that we're not running classes right now) do you realize that once we start classes AND you start losing airframes anyone who is eligible can and will flow per the agreement?

Maybe there's more to the flow, but I only know of 2 per month. If that holds true, that's still going to take a long time to go down the list with no going outside the flow.
I don't know if there's any agreements or other stipulations when we start losing planes. But when, rather than if, we do it sucks those who upgraded less than a year ago aren't eligible to go.

Well of course this might take a while to go down the list however if senior pilots don't want to flow they'll go to the next number. Patience, let the system work.
Just saw your edit, that's completely true and unfortunate. Who knows if they can come up with something for those who might see a downgrade. Either way having this flow to pull guys from the top definitely cant hurt you.

I flew with a recruiter last week, and he said things are changing. Yes, an ATP style test is administered now, and there is a cog screen. There might have been a cog before, but I think he said it actually counts now, as opposed to where it used to be a tie breaker/added info. It sounded like if you fail the ATP test, they ask you to leave right then. Same if your logbooks are a mess, you dont even continue the day.
Also, he mentioned that HR has way more power to choose than they used to. Take that for what it's worth....
That's about all I got out of him, good luck out there.

I interviewed at SkyWest many years ago and there was another guy who showed up with a total mess of loose papers and logbook pages. One of the interview guys said that he would walk him to the copier and help him make copies.
We never saw him again.
They took organization very seriously. That fella was only inside the building for less than 5 minutes before they walked him to the "copier"

I just received the interview email this morning. Curious about the ATP style test Frontier is using. Does anyone know if its taken from the ATP written test or questions that have been created in-house? Trying to focus on the right material to study. Thanks for the information and help in advance.

Has anyone had a recent experience with the ATP type test F9 is using during the interview. Just curious, if the questions are from the actual ATP test or made up in house, trying to narrow down my study information. Thanks for the help.
