Im just kind of guessing here.
Let's say you want nothing but day turns over 7 hrs credit. I'm guessing you would need to be in the top 20% to hold that. Consistently at least.
And for anyone interested in coming here, the time to get to the top 20% of the FO list will vary dramatically between bases. DEN, MCO, LAS are more senior, PHL, MIA are more junior
I'm sure someone will chime in with better info

I'm between 21-24% in DEN and the only turns I can get are 6hr 4 leg days with a 5am show... no thanks. I’m thinking 15 or maybe 10% to get decent turn lines at least in DEN. There is a ton of Sr FOs in DEN that live for the sweet day turns. Other bases are much easier but 5+ yrs won’t get you there here.

We went over a year with essentially zero 4-day trips and they're back now. The balance still seems to be tilted more toward 1-3 day trips than 4 compared to pre-COVID, but the variety is there again. Most bases seem to have an even split of 1, 2, 3, and 4-day trips.

DEN 1 Day: 39.8 2 Day: 37.1 3 Day: 14.3 4 Day: 8.8
LAS 1 Day: 43.2 2 Day: 32.2 3 Day: 17.0 4 Day 7.5
MCO 1 Day: 41.9 2 Day: 27.1 3 Day: 17.2 4 Day 13.8
MIA 1 Day: 47.3 2 Day: 30.7 3 Day: 16.9 4 Day: 5.0
CHI 1 Day: 20.4 2 Day: 52.0 3 Day: 7.9 4 Day: 19.8
PHL 1 Day: 34.5 2 Day: 36.4 3 Day: 17.4 4 Day: 11.7
TPA 1 Day: 85.6 2 Day: 10.8 3 Day: 2.2 4 Day: 1.4
Are they increasing? Maybe, but not even close to back. Those that might be looking at TPA, remember, its new and small, don't freak out yet.

Not sure where you're based, but as of July, in all bases, its approximately 75% 1 and 2 day trips, and 25% 3 and 4 days.

. It felt more balanced having any 4-day trips at all, but the numbers don't lie. So please ignore my last post.

What should drive us back to more 3 and 4 day trips is the companies inability to reassign with turns. Right now we’re fat on res fo in most domiciles so it’s not a problem. Yet. They also don’t mind being fat because the government is still providing payroll support. Once that incentive is removed I’ll bet we lean out quick.
