I still can’t believe we have min guarantee for duty periods and not a daily guarantee…

how many 10 hour legit close to 60+ hour TAFB 3 days do we have. Every airline including the regionals has that.

if this is not included it will am immediate no. The reason why we need this is because it forces the company to build somewhat efficient trips and not leave us stuck in a hotel for 28+ hours…

they do it because it’s insanely cheap for them to build trips this way compared to what it should cost them.

I thought you guys had 3.5:1 TAfB rig. 60hr TAFB would credit 17hrs

We do, he’s either exaggerating or uninformed.

Not sure when you got here (after the last contract vote) but WE voted this in.

When are people going to acknowledge that the union and NC work for US? We need to take more control over our own union - if WE don't like what's happening (especially w/ the contract), then WE get a new NC. IMHO, the NC is doing EXACTLY what he have asked them. They have taken our feedback and developed a contract ask that is what we seek. We all seem to be OK with less than rates as long as we preserve work rules. I am not. OUR work rules have been reduced or outright nullified by company actions and aren't worth the paper they're written on. The rate will ALWAYS be the rate no matter what the company does to pairings, duty day, etc.

And STOP w/ the whole "well, a new NC will just delay things" mess. Yes of course it will and it sucks that all of us picked the wrong NC in the first place, but the answer is NOT to settle for less because we were too impatient to actually make it right. Sooner or later this pilot group needs to stop thinking only about now and more about the future (even if/when some of us won't be here).

The union isn't the problem - they're doing what we ask. WE are the problem.

Default Ever one just take a breathe

I have been in this business for 30 years. Been through multiple contract negotiations some good some bad. This is just how it plays out. Everyone needs to be patient. The company is gonna try and wear us down. Turn us against our own union and accept a ****ty deal. Just be patient let the process work through

Everyone says their company (legacies included) spout doom and gloom during negotiations, then after, best company ever... Every legacy is talking about their 4 year negotiations... It just sucks we are so behind and I hope that changes and we get even just a year or two closer to everyone else or the snap up/MRA will keep us at least paid standard during it all.

As it's been said on here before it's up to the pilot group. Tell your union what you expect and then vote accordingly when it comes time.

Now that the government is open, do we have any idea when we will get a response from the NMB in relation to the status meeting from a few weeks ago?
