Good luck with that unity. But I agree that it's much needed, especially getting more people to get involved.
if 40% of the pilot group is intent on leaving no matter what then union leadership should be taking this into account when formulating a strategy.

Yeah I guess I'll just have to take your word for it because I did not get the memo, nor will I ever get to see the memo. Like wise no one out side of 167 will get to look at it and publicly respond to it.

Do you see a problem here?

For all I know The language could be blessed by the ghost of Johnny Cochran or some sketchy strip mall like better call Saul.

Dimes to Dollars if there is talk of an LOA it's not nothing. That is just my instincts (not feelings)

If they could just do it with no set backs then they would, and again we would not be having this conversation.

Why Leave?

You could tell your self this or that, realistically there are only a few
1) Money
2) QOL
3) Bases
4) Efficiency of trips/Type of flying
5) Quality of the company you work for

Where does F9 rate on these... poor, stepping stone airline. I don't blame the new guys for leaving. It's just a better deal. 40% seems high I could see that if your in SJU. Florida bases less so. People seemed content in LAS/PHX but the math changes over time.

Not liking the company I get, They have a tendency to really let us down on so many little things yet Expect more out of the Pilots then Legacy's do.

If we had a really strong Union. a lot of participation and a distributed effort. This place could be great. It won't happen over night. I would take years to develop that kind of culture, but If we want to move forward that is the best way.

At one point South West was under paid. People weren't itching to move on so much as there are here. It's because they had a strong culture. People really liked where they worked. Truth be told I like where I work. we keep butting heads with management, But If we had an effective Union that could come up with lasting permanent solutions to our daily problems. The math changes.

ALPA attorney’s, including ours, is public information due to labor laws. Education, experience, salary, ect….It’s not really a guessing game.

That is not an answer. That is an appeal to authority. Do you have any information which supports your statements?

You are free to reach out to the reps of 167 and have them send you the update.

We as a pilot group have talked about getting LEC comms sent to ALL LECs, because it is important for everyone to be up to date. Let your reps know. I bet they dont want that, because 169 is not playing ball with everyone else.

If everyone asks their reps if they can send LEC memos union wide, then that would be the ideal solution.

you seem to have an Ax to grind. What specifically is that you don't like about 169? How have they wronged you in the past?

I understand If you don't want to talk about it. Right now all of us are trying to size up the LECs. If there is so much infighting perhaps we should sweep out the LECs as well. It they can't put their differences aside and do what needs to be done they should not be there.
