Is there another Frontier branded entity that covers credit card miles? How is that side of the business doing?

Part of any good business is multiple revenue streams. Some will dip while others hopefully cover that dip. Our market is over capacity currently so hopefully the SLB transactions can cover us for a few years and either allow us to pivot more or carry us until the capacity constraints normalize. Many things will change during that time both internally and externally.

Negotiations don't really start until one side or the other puts effective pressure on the other side. I remember hearing that IROPS triggering cancelled vacations caused quite a stir. Brand yellow got the restraining order for the fake work slowdown. SWAPA effectively gave SWA the bird after SWA made multiple ineffective attempts to intimidate the pilot group through furlough WARN notices right before Christmas, attempts to get force majeure wording and pay cuts pushed through, and multiple agreements to formalize status quo violations during negotiations. In each case, one side found a lever and used it. It didn't matter that for brand yellow, the restraining order worked against them in the end because both sides had to make significant compromises (big boy payscale vs. PBS is one example). The point is that until one side is able to effectively tip the scales with significant pressure, it's all just so much preparation of the battlefield.

isnt airbus like 10 years out now for delivery? If buying planes and then selling them back to leasing companies is the winning strategy, we are going to need something to hold us over in the mean time.

End of the decade per Airbus CEO. So we either need an order soonish or merge with somebody like Spirit who just defered their orders until 2029.

2. It got slightly more difficult with the first few rows center seats being left open.

Thanks!

I see, that’s the new business seating option. Would you know in StaffTraveller, when one responds for a Frontier load, is the open seat number already accounting for the “blocked” front middle seats?

many of the StaffTraveler reponders are gate agents, and other staff (pilots too...) and I would think that the loads posted are "seats available for use" kind of thing.

no pure "empty seats" per se
