I don’t know the plan and wouldn’t be surprised by much but I have a hard time thinking this is a real plan. The reason most people, including myself, stay here is to be able to be home daily living in base. Closing multiple bases is a recipe for a mass exodus. People are going to be hesitant to move into base if they sense they might have it shut down around them within a couple of years.

On another note, Apparently AL went into RGS and told people there would be a shakeup around Feb 6th announced that would "Make some of you unhappy" so take that as you will. The airline doesn't give a rats ass about your TPA base or your MIA base. They dont care you moved. They need to make money and do what is feasible for that. If it means shutting a base down, they will do it without a doubt in their mind, tell you to take some money for the move, and pack your **** or commute.
That little recruiting sign with bullet points needs to be thrown in the trash, idk how our recruiters even exist peddling those horse**** "perks" anymore. Your small base might be closed, we only have a few bases other airlines dont have anymore, our pay is about 50% less, but yeah, I guess YOU CAN BE GREEN, with your green newhires constantly revolving out of the company seniority list.
