+1 That is a great post. I hope the FAPAInvest leaders and BB decide they need to start working to survive instead of separate.

Dangling off a holdings company with very little cash (at either company) is not the place to be when you're an ULCC and Israel is getting an itchy trigger finger. But then, I guess many (not most) of the F9 guys would rather fail than be associated with regional pilots. For the others, I hope the F9 leaders can find a way forward.

I believe you underestimate the number of F9 pilots that would rather Frontier failed than to be a part of RAH. You state 'many (not most)'.

I believe your statement would be much more accurate if you had just said 'most (virtually all)'.

For me personally, I have nothing against regional pilots or being associated with them. For myself, and a very large percentage of current F9 pilots, the SLI was a career ending proposition with Frontier/RAH. Over 1600 regional pilots went ahead of me on the combined list. That guarantees that if seperation does not happen, I will never upgrade, will be perpetually stagnated, and continually moving down the list, as 1600 RAH pilots move in front of me.

Without seperation, there is no future for me (and a huge percentage of my F9 peers) with Frontier Airlines, and as such, I would just as soon see it fail, than to see an undeserving RAH pilot take my seat.

That idiotic windfall SLI virtually guaranteed that there could never be a long term permanent RAH/Frontier partnership (which is unfortunate).

I believe my sentiments are shared by most Frontier pilots.

How many guys have actually taken an Airbus seat that were junior to you before the SLI and are now senior to you? How many Tier 3 FO's have had either junior Lynx guys or Furloughed Midwest guys now senior to them on the SLI take a seat on the E-jet? If separation does occur and you guys are no longer bound by the SLI, will all of the RAH guys that have actually lost seniority in seat going to get their prior seniority back? I guess what I am getting at is, losing seniority is the end game for you guys and are doing what ever you can to separate, but it's tough sh*t for the RAH guys that have actually lost seniority in their seat?

I dont know which is worse: The fact you think like this, or you think others share this attitude. All this achieves for you is the the continued downward spiral that all other airline professionals witness. The selfish and blatant egoism you and "most" F9 pilots share will only harm you in the future as you will for sure make your attitude well known where ever you end up. Its normal to have dislikes with a SLI determination, but you F9 guys take the proverbial cake. After the hardship the Midwest guys have faced, you claim the SLI was "idiotic" because it did favor you. Unbelievable introverted.

What goes around, comes around.

I've been gone a while, but I thought I remembered some provision in the SLI that barred RAH guys from Fifi's left seat until all the F9 guys had upgraded. Is there such a provision or is my memory flawed?

Do you just cut n paste, or did you read it first?

Go back and reread it, then take a second and think about it.

If 'Egoism' is protecting the job we Earned, from being stolen, so be it.

Call us whatever names you wish, but we will fight to keep what we earned.

Too bad this offends you , I'm sure you wouldn't do the same.

Enjoy your day.

And these posts are exactly why F9 is being laughed at...and failing.

A career ending proposition? Besides the fact that the CA spots were protected, does it EVER occur to you F9 guys that the vast majority of the native RAH list has ZERO desire to stick around here for 6 years and wait for an airbus spot? With the projected hiring industry-wide over the next ten years, I would bet that 60-70% of the 1600 pilots that went above you will not even be here by the date the fence would come down. The other 30-40% will be in the left seat of an E-Jet and might not want to go to the bus depending on QOL etc. Hypothetically, if this whole mess is still going in 6 years or whenever the fence is now, you may take a small hit to your seniority, but it would be minimal.

I know any hit to seniority sucks (I got thrown under everyone at Lynx; I get it.) but to say it is career ending in this situation is a huge exaggeration.

I don't mean to be a di*k, but most of our pilots have much bigger career ambitions than F9.

We can scrum all day!
Ahh..taking joy in the misery of others, I see. You are a gem, Bolo.

After all the B.S. from you guys, I certainly don't care much for your pilot group as a whole, BUT I would never take pleasure in hearing about someone getting, oh say, a joint MDW-ORD base they don't want.

Closing bases screws with people's lives. I wouldn't wish that on even you. But hey, keep it classy Frontier!
