heading the FAPA.aero job fair in LAS this wed. Looking forward to talking with the F9 folks.. anyone else going? I wasn't sure if I was that enthused about frontier, but with the uncertainty of working at a regional these days, it looks to be a good step in the right direction. The more I talk with some crews and new hires it seems that frontier is feeling the same pains as XJT has been for the past 5 years. I have a feeling those will go away and the plan Indigo has comes to fruition. Growth is a good thing... shrinkage at XJT is not so good. I would love to come work with you all for awhile.. and maybe even call Frontier home if given the opportunity.

Yep you're an employee from day 1. You'll get an employee badge, placed into the CASS system, and paid 75 credit hours guarantee. Lodging is on you; however, if your sim is outside of Denver they will pay for the hotel. Year 1 is a big financial hit for a lot of folks. It's ridiculous, but you're essentially throwing the dice that their grand growth plan not only happens, but is successful AND the pay tables/retirement benefits greatly improve. Welcome to the Frontier career roulette table! Pull up a chair and double down! Actually that would be a pretty great idea for the job fairs.

If your before tax take home first year at min guarantee is less than $2800, I can see where a bit of comparison between F9 and a regional can be made. Guys making over 6 figures as long term regional captains with good schedules would be taking a huge financial and QOL penalty for a good couple of years.
However for an RJ FO there really should not be any comparison's made.
