Yeah, I'm not sure what the new rates at AA are, I should have specified that. But, the point stands. Legacy, majors, cargo etc don't compare to regional.

If memory serves the new year 1 pay at American is $77/hr.

Unemployment benefits are only paid when your employment ended by no fault of your own. If your fired... nothing. I believe it starts after your vacation time is paid out and the week or two waiting period passes anyway. Save your breath and get ready for ground school.

I met Frontier's Chief pilot, today at the career fair. What a laid back, personable guy & extremely excited about the company's future, growth plan and upcoming base announcement.
