The word from last week's ground school is: New domicile will be announced in June and open in the fall. Possibly Orlando, but for sure east coast and somewhere it doesn't snow. They are planning on getting a total of 19 321s. 1200 pilots by the end of 2016.

How many pilots are currently on the list? How many more need to be hired to make it to 1200? Thanks much. Just trying to get an idea of how long it'd take to get off reserve if hired in the near future.

There are about 850 currently. They said we will be up to 1200 by the end of 2016, so a bit more than a year and a half. I figure that averages to about 18 new hires a month. Getting off reserve should happen quickly.

Default When does Frontier pay start

Can someone who works for Frontier confirm the start of your employment at Frontier begins when you show up on the property for Ground school? I understand Frontier makes you pay for your lodging during training, but when do you receive your pay as a regular employee.

Thanks

Question for guys who've been to a job fair. What can I expect when meeting with Frontier? What is the process? I'm new at this and plan on attending one next week.

Yep you're an employee from day 1. You'll get an employee badge, placed into the CASS system, and paid 75 credit hours guarantee. Lodging is on you; however, if your sim is outside of Denver they will pay for the hotel. Year 1 is a big financial hit for a lot of folks. It's ridiculous, but you're essentially throwing the dice that their grand growth plan not only happens, but is successful AND the pay tables/retirement benefits greatly improve. Welcome to the Frontier career roulette table! Pull up a chair and double down! Actually that would be a pretty great idea for the job fairs.

Pretty casual and relaxed when I went. Tell me about yourself, why Frontier, what do you do in your free time, where all have you applied? No tricks, just getting to know you. Felt more like a normal conversation with someone I just met rather than an interview. They were offering interview invites at WAI. Good luck!

New rate is $72- $82 after tax.

I would say the Staybridge is the best choice at $75 per night studio with a king bed or $95 per night for separate bedroom two beds and a sleeper sofa if you want to go Crash Pad style for those going through ground school.

WAI was relaxed, just be relaxed and it seems like that is the place to get the invite. I also received an interview invite by going to the WAI.

edit: how many times can I say relaxed.
