The frontier group gets exactly what it deserves.
Anyone who comes here with any other intention than to get a type and get out is a genuine fool.
The fact that this still goes on here is mind boggling to me (I see it as well). How anyone can continue to taxi on one engine, keep write up's till Denver, and basically do anything to help the company is unreal.

I agree so vehemently with this statement. With the new pay rates coming to Allegiant, they are just one example of "another" better option for pilot employment! You desire F9 employment right now, you are out of your mind. A pilot group on the brink of explosion, and a management team that might honestly reside on a different planet, why would you even consider it??? Check out other options, and keep F9 as your "safety" choice. Avoid at all costs!! Let mgmt exhaust their hiring needs from their Silver and Lakes flow programs. Honestly, you do not want to be caught in the middle of a strike as a probationary pilot. Scab if you attempt work, fired if you walk!! Good luck all!

It means beat the rush and come on over to the anchor of major airlines. The company is raking in profits hand over fist and I can guarantee you'll make one or two bucks more than you are at your current regional. But nothing more than that, business conditions are brutal for airlines these days. And to make sure we get to keep you as part of our "team", I'll make sure to sign you up for a 2 year/24k training contract. Better hurry though, interview slots for this place are gonna fill up fast! Heck, you'll even get a "great job" email from BB himself on Friday before the holiday. That's worth more than anything money can buy.

Also, don't forget that the preferred way to talk to the company dispatch or MX is through ACARS. F9 does not pay for your cell phone. ANY MX item (including computer resets) should be communicated to company via ACARS when it is discovered.

A note should be added to 'send mechanic to gate xx', as flight crew placarding can be tricky via ACARS and places a level of responsibility on the pilot, that should be placed on MX. Pilots are not getting paid to maintain the airworthiness of the aircraft. Leave that to the professionals that are getting paid to do it.

Don't forget to get extra gas in case you need to go slow, go fast, or deviate (whichever is safest for you!)

Be safe out there!!!

Yeah Thanks Barry Biffle!!! Your Weekly Updates, especially this one, are incredibly motivating / inspiring!!

And I quote..."I’m so proud of how far we’ve come over the past year to continue improving, and I want to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication." However, when it comes to our obligation to repay you for your investments you made to save this company years ago, F*%# You!! These are our profits...just go get our planes from A to B without banging them up!!

I just read the letter from ALPA regarding negotiations this week. This is a clear message that Management intends to turn Frontier into a regional with Airbus. Same mindset! Any F/O or Jr Capt without trying to get a job elsewhere needs to re-think that thought. I keep hoping one for the big 3 gives me a chance.

I had hopes for F9 when I started back in 2014, but now I know better. Come to F9, get your type/experience and use them to get to the next level. This is no longer a career airline.

I sure hope our MEC does not sign the LOA for the EFBs, they want to drag this for 4 years, they can wait 4 years for that provision a well.

Haven't read the whole thread so forgive me, but the general tone F9 seems pretty upset. Would you all really recommend staying at a regional vs accepting a position at Frontier? Does F9 not have soft time to hit high credits or days off like Spirit?

Go back and read, then you'll realize to never come back onto the F9 thread again.

What the hell does wearing the idiotic hat have to do with this? You wear the rest of the idiotic uniform. The rest of your points are right on! You left out another very important activity that some of the pilots are engaging in, being featured in the company's "Winning" publication and stating how great it is to work at F9. One of our own even thought it was cool to pose with B.B! WOW! And I would also like to offer a big thank you to all who voted for the concessions over the years and especially LOA 67, that's now the crap starting point where we are negotiating from. But if it makes you feel better give yourself a big ol' pat on the back, tell yourself you are responsible for saving the company and at least we have Denver!
