The gouge is accurate. Engage everyone and show them how much you want to be there. This includes looking your best, having your paperwork in order, and being prepared for the 'interview' portion of the day.

Know how to read Jepp charts, know the regs you should know anyway (assuming you're prior 121), and don't forget to take a breath. There are no tricks. Be prepared to answer more times than five "why frontier?" , "You DO realize we pay $37.xx/hr first year?", "you do realize there's a training contract, is that a problem for you?"

Overall a very professional and welcoming experience.

Hey Clear Creek...Not sure where you are currently flying, but would ask you stay at your current airline. We DO NOT need your crappy attitude here at F9.
I personally know Bolo and can assure you he is far from a douche!!
Not only will you not find Bolo pushing wheelchairs, wearing a hat, or making long PA’s, but he is one of the senior pilots at this airline who gives a **** about the quality of new hires we attract and the future of our airline.
We have been and will once again be one of the most efficient and biggest heart felt pilot groups in the industry (excluding the 10 percenters). We will achieve an industry standard contract in the “hopefully” near future and when Indigo gets done flipping this house we can also hopefully return to the quality airline we were prior to their arrival. As an instructor pilot at this airline, I wish you the best of luck with your career progression. You will need it!!!!
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY HERE. You are not a good fit for Frontier Airlines

WARNING, Frontier is starting to hire more "less desirable" pilots with the thought that they will be washed out during training.

The example I was given was hire 30 and plan to get 20 through, that means apx 10 go home with a failed 121 event on their record and likely no job to go back to since they resigned to go there. CAUTION if you go there.

Yea get ready to kiss A$$ like you've never done before and stroke the egos of former skywest RJ FOs that will be interviewing you who've only been with the company about 5 minutes. Even then it probably won't be enough.

According to his previous posts ClearCreak is an F9 pilot, and his posts are always negative, pointless, and unhelpful. F9 has its fair share of problems (which we're working on in negotiations), but it's nowhere near as bad as he makes it seem! I'm pretty sure he'd be miserable at the big 3 or Southwest as well! Some people are just like that....I probably shouldn't have said anything because I generally like to stay out of this stuff, but I thought you should know he already works here.

Uhhhhhh... I must say initial training at F9 was the most positive training experience from start to finish I've had throughout my career. I don't say that in a cheerleading way, it's just the truth.

Translation: I didn't get hired.

First off, I don't see much evidence that we hire SkyWest pilots. We hire a particular attitude. Your experience is what lands you the interview and your personality is what wins you the job. It's that simple.

Show up prepared, well studied, well informed, be engaging with everyone, work the room, and never ever touch the cell phone. All of this is common sense for anyone who really understands the value of the First Impression.

You wont get asked about volunteer experience or any other BS that has absolutely nothing to do with anything. You will get asked "Why Frontier" and don't give a canned answer.

Best of luck to all.

This is absolutely NOT true! I'm fairly new at frontier, and can tell you this is simply not true. We have a 95% pass rate. The training department at frontier is nothing less than exceptional. The instructors are very passionate about their jobs, and give 100%. I've been in aviation sense 1992, I've not seen it all by any means. However, this training department is top notch period.
