I got the email invite for the recruitment open house in LGA on Dec 9th. I was turned down last yr and haven't updated since yet I was allowed to schedule for a one on one interview. Is this legit or a blast email?

It's for real, Hoover. F9 has had a high success rate with candidates who return for a second interview in the past (from what I've heard.) If you're still interested in F9, consider attending and let the F9 team there know- they'll appreciate the effort, I'm sure.

I got the email too, for those interested you can read it below:

Thank you for your interest in Frontier Airlines.

We would like to invite you to attend our Pilot Recruiting Open House and Chief Pilot Q&A:

This event will provide us with the opportunity to get to know you better and for you to meet our Chief Pilot and Pilot Recruiters. Please remember to bring your resume. There will be presentations at 9 AM and 1 PM as well as an opportunity for you ask questions and learn more about a career with Frontier Airlines!

Additionally a limited number of 10-20 minute one-on-one sessions with our recruiters will be available to those who have an application on file and meet our minimum qualifications. These reviews can be scheduled by visiting the following link

Frontier Airlines

to our Interview Scheduling Software. Please note that this will not be a formal interview, and your session with a recruiter will be held at your scheduled time. As there are a limited number of time slots, they will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please register before availability runs out!

If you miss out on the one-one-one sessions, we still strongly encourage you to attend our event. We will be happy to accept your resume and talk to you about Frontier Airlines. Please be sure to check the booking site regularly in case additional slots become available.

If you know anybody interested, forward this event on.

If you have any questions, please contact us at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing you in New York!

It's interesting that I would get an invite when once already told no and they're are plenty of good, well qualified guys who can't even get a hello. Maybe this time I won't be asked if since I have a B737 type rating "will I be going to southwest " no fewer than 6 times during the different phases of the interview? Spoiler: I did and currently fly the B737 hence the type.

Hoover,

You most likely will be asked six or more times again. They really try hard to find guys who want to be at, and believe in Frontier. Like Broflyer said if you show up for a second interview, your actions will show that you are committed and want to be there. Good luck to you.

We obviously don't want you! Stay at your regional! Why would you even be a D**K about it? Do you think we already know that? In contract negotiations. Have you ever heard of that?
