Oh, along with whatever tax incentives they got I'm SURE they got us some new mud to slog through [sarcasm]

I'd actually like to know what tax incentives they got for doing this. There's a big push for companies to move into the DIA enterprise zone. Our current GO is well suited for subdividing for other businesses. At least they didn't move back to 25 & Peoria! Colorado redraws enterprise zone boundaries ? The Denver Post

I haven't seen the new place by CAE, but since they have the cash to settle with the FAs and buy a new building I'd say business conditions are just fine for complying with LOA 67.

I will never cross a picket line, ever. No on here knows who I am, or evidently how to read my posts, because you all think I mean something entirely different, when in reality, I am simply echoing the same sentiments that many people here have already posted.

I would be there on the 19th, but I have to work.

So which is it?

I don't think there's anything wrong with our reading comprehension...

And FWIW, it is not my intention to bully anyone, and I couldn't care any less how you operate your aircraft. My point is that we should all be doing at LEAST what our representatives have asked us to do, which, so far, is:

Wear the free lanyard they put in your vfile (I don't really care for it either, but hey, if they ask me to, I'll do it). If you don't do this, your are clearly and intentionally showing your lack of support for our negotiations, and have earned whatever feedback comes your way.

Spend half a day doing something our elected representatives and the really smart people we have hired to guide us through this process are asking everyone available to do.

I certainly feel we should all at least do these things considering everything our representatives and negotiators are doing for us.

I simply can't respond more respectfully than that.

I have no intention of being a "keyboard commando". I stand behind my words and would gladly share my identity via pm if needed....

There's no doubt a new contract would help with recruiting and retention.
I got a call from a recruiter not too long ago, unfortunately I was on a trip and unable to return a call the same day. I called the person I was told to call if I was interested and left a message. Three days later I received a TBNT email. Did I just miss an opportunity because I was unable to return a call due to being at work? Should I reapply, or did I just miss the bus. 6500 TT 5000 jet 3000 TPIC 500 121.

A bunch of TBNT emails went out, some to people with interviews already scheduled and some in class. I think they purged the resumes concurrent with a new requisition being published. I would reapply but also keep calling as I'm sure they aren't holding not answering the phone against you. They wouldn't have left a message if not answering the phone was a deal breaker.

There's a good chance they didn't mean to send you a TBNT.

Yeah. Call them back again. People have gotten thanks but no thanks emails while in ground school.

Thanks for the input guys. I will reapply, call and leave another message. I was trying to show patience after my first call, as I realize most recruiters are active pilots and figured it would take time for a follow up call. I just figured the email was a done deal. Good luck with your negotiations!
