Paid what we are worth? Are you kidding me? Do you know what a 15 year captain at Frontier is worth to any other airline? $30k-$55k and a complete loss of quality of life.

This whole industry needs labor reform. There has to be a way to make lateral moves without starting over. Also, there's no reason for pay disparities between captain and FO besides, "Well that's just the way it's always been." That's the only way you're going to see fair rates across the board.

But that's never going to happen so if you're at a legacy making top dollar now enjoy that ride as long as it'll last. Historically you've got about 10 years left until some crap hits the fan and you're furloughed and/or taking extreme cuts.

...But I bet its safe to say, given the Current IMSL arbitration, about the 'new hire' dispute, that F9 shouldn't & wouldn't touch ANY YX or rah application with a ten foot pole. -At this time.

At this time, we have been Burned by the YX-8, and are currently in Open arbitration for IMSL with both ALPA & IBT Vs the F9 pilot group (new & old).

It would be prudent to Wait, until after the IMSL ruling to apply/accept any apps from Any party within the IMSL. --Just my 2 cents.

Once the dust settles, many cool folks (rah) may have a real good shot here at F9.

Just my humble/crazy Opinion.

I'm not at a legacy, I'm at spirit which is very much like frontier. Now that indigo is involved frontier will most likely see rapid growth and massive profits. That great no doubt but its time to "show me the money!". The "Kwan"

I understand the history of all the bankruptcy contracts and furloughs at the legecy carriers but the pay and retirement is very good. With all the mergers the airline industry has stableized.

You can make the same or more your second year at United, Delta or AMR that Frontier pays at year 12. Starting pay is twice as much. As far as the training contract goes, I think you are better off going to a legecy and paying it if you have to. Financially you will be better off. A FO at UAL on 8th year pay can make that much in 1 month if you work it. Good luck either way.

Longevity based upon "early" 2014 new hire (before July 2014)

I totally understand where you are coming from. My post from page 23 basically states "If this is the rule of law, you cannot pick and chose which rules you will obey and which ones you will not" .. It's simple as that..
My stance would be the same if the Eichen awarded something heavily in favor of F9. I know it's a bitter pill to swallow.

Even though the IMSL is still common I think F9 is on the right path in terms of making it obselete. NMB ruling that F9 and RAH are not single carrier status is one of them. I hear Jun 12th is the date for the representation election. I think that will be another brick on the wall between two neighbors.

I also understand how the YX-8 ruined for the people at Frontier. At least I am happy that non of the RAH people pulled something like that. (I knew only one and he is no longer with you guys anyway) . .

Lastly a lot has happened since that post. I was a firm believer of The Slate and the leader's decisions. Looks like that leader got himself really good position in management leaving 2000 people behind.

I still believe that F9 is a good company with great future. Employees have to fight the good fight , like Spirit guys did when they had to go on strike, when the time comes.

Considering that Frontier was gearing toward a complete shutdown just 7 or 8 months ago under Republic's genius I don't know that we can expect much. Until Frontier goes public we won't really know how the operation is performing financially. Also, I don't even think the contract is amendable until 2017. Maybe someone else can shed some more light, but I don't think much is changing for a while to come.

Things are completely changing. Frontier has been run by a cast of idiots from day one. Our network is completely changing under Indigo's guidance. We are stuck in our current CBA for a few more years (in some respects this is a blessing in disguise) but everything else around us is changing in a major way.
