If you want things to improve, convince the regional pilots to stay away!

Morale is incredibly low for everyone from flight crews to our outsourced gate agents and ground crew who are forced to do more and more with less and less resources. Employees and passengers alike are suffering due to the greed and short sightedness of our management, amid record profits.

It would be one thing IF this airline was well run but it isn't. The new NEO's deliveries we were supposed to be getting are delayed due to the MX program not being approved for them. On that note the mechanics are also trying to get a fair contract and being squeezed to the bone by management. They care nothing of good labor relations. Keep that in mind when looking at F9.
Thanks, I spoke with HR, expressed my concerns in as nice as way as possible and made it clear that it isn't worth either of our time to continue the process.

Are you saying you came to F9 without knowing what the pay and benefits were? Seriously, who does that?

You can always leave F9 for a direct entry Captain position at a Regional and make more money, right? Oh wait, that would mean you'd have to again get used to being treated like a small farm animal with, at best, 12 days off per month.

How many days off you have last month? That's what I thought.

You made the decision to come here knowing the pay AND knowing that we are years away from a new contract. What, you think management is just gonna suddenly adopt a Santa Claus complex and give you a pay raise out of the goodness of their hearts? That doesn't happen...anywhere without a fight...ever.

Come on guys, wake up. This is reality.

Frontier opened up the contract out of cycle in 2001 and increased wages. So it does happen.

I knew. I'm trying to give prospective guys and gals an insiders view from someone who was in their shoes recently and has actually worked here, as opposed to the outside looking in/speculative view.

13 days off last month, which is easy to match or better at a regional by the way. Plenty of lines with 12 off next month.

This is reality, yes thanks for the insight. I'm trying to give people honest information, and you seem a bit defensive about it.

Such a tough choice to turn down job offer after waiting so long for this industry to turn around....Well done!

Me too, tough call to make but I couldn't stomach the idea of paying for a hotel/crashpad in training for $37 an hour. I would have walked in the first day of indoc frustrated instead of excited.
