For a 24 month training contract and some of the lowest pay rates in the world to fly an Airbus it should be easy. Except for lying when they ask you "what happens if Airline XYZ calls you?"

Most people wouldn't put Alaska in the same category as DL, UAL or AA especially with their current contract. Yet they are a legacy.

Defending either of our companies before our management gives us the contracts we deserve is illogical.

We aren't competitive"majors" until then. I think that's what he meant, and I read into it.

We are the fat girls at the dance right now. Wishing it wasn't true doesn't change that, unless you consider Skywest a desirable major.
I truly hope that you guys get the contract you deserve ASAP. Best of luck.

I have no idea who you are and I am sure you don't know who I am. But, if you have such problem with me, please contact me directly, you are welcome to send a PM. Mature adults speak directly to each other if they have a problem, at least that's who I was raised.

At my entire tenure at this airline, I have never had a complaint from any pilot directly at this airline. I am confident and sleep well at night knowing that I ALWAYS make an effort to always smile, be outgoing, have a positive attitude and go out totally out of my way to help my coworkers, even if, for some weird reason lately, the favor isn't always returned.

For those looking to come to F9, please know this is not the norm, 99% of pilots are wonderful, awesome people.

Hopefully they would still call you with a CJO, even though the class date would be much later.

From everything I've heard don't be surprised (if you get a CJO) if they call in July asking if you can be in a class in <2 weeks. That's how it went last year when they decided they made a mistake by postponing classes. But who knows...
