I had a really good post. It was funny, direct, a little condescending, and certainly let the 19 people who chose to condone how this management team treats it’s pilots exactly how I felt about their decision. It also with no question let them know how their presence at this company made me feel as if they have sold our whole pilot group down the river. You all would’ve really enjoyed it, but I decided against posting it.

Let’s just say it had a general theme of the tried and true pilot adage that “ It’s much better to be on the ground wishing you were flying than in the air wishing to god you were on the ground.” Some people have to fly directly into a thunderstorm because it just takes too long to fly around it, or land and wait it out. People like that do not have the mindset of pilots that I wish to share a cockpit with.

Agreed. I’ll even go so far as to say there was a watershed moment that changed everything with regard to recruiting and welcoming all with open arms.
July 2018
-In July the company announced cancelled vacations for the first time
-In July the company began threatening pilots for excessive absences
-In July the company held Section 13 witch hunts for pilots not crediting enough hours
-In July the company fired probationary pilots
-In July our own Union admitted they have given up all hope
-In July our own Union asserted that the NMB will never release us
-In July our own Union announced increased efforts to get our own pilots hired at other airlines
If you still come here after all this you are part of the problem. Sorry, not sorry. Hope to see you here AFTER we get a new contract. Or maybe at a different airline after this whole thing goes Tango Uniform.
