Am I reading this right; no hotel is provided during training?
Maybe I’m missing something here but with many regionals providing 4 hotels a month, commuting policies, sign on bonuses, fast upgrades why would you want to go to F9 right now anyway? There’s also XOjet, Flexjet or Netjets if you want reasonable QOL while sending out resumes to the majors. I think Spirit is hiring and that’s looking like a great job these days.
I’m just not seeing the draw to F9 right now with all the other options out there.

I for sure have been a outspoken critic of making wise choices when it comes to the regional airline world. I have friends there at F9 and have spoken with them at length. Some of you have forgotten what the regional world is like, I am over it! Moving on and its in motion, as is the train has left the station. I will still need a pad there in DEN when I hit the line. Any recommendations? Need be we can talk about why YOU and I have chosen Frontier when I get on line. I have no problem reminding you UA is currently hiring and China could use your Airbus PIC time. So why is it your not a UA or in China? Probably the same reason I will give right back to you Captain righteous!
The things that people used to talk about making Frontier worth while have deteriorated while I have been here. The ability to drop trips and adjust your schedule has become much more limited. The company claims this is due to pilots dropping more than they pick up. It is all a matter of how you look at the data. I drop a bunch of inefficient flying that had me at 12 days off and 77 hours hours. In turn I picked up more efficient flying and fly 78 hours with 17 days off. According to the company this is a work action since I worked less days. It doesn't matter that more block hours were covered. The company will manipulate the data to fit the narrative they wish too tell.
I also hope you don't want anytime off. Currently with the vacation cancellations it takes the better part of 3 years on property to hold a week off, worse if you are a captain. Maybe this will get better in the near future but I doubt it as the company has not met their projected hiring numbers recently which once again means we the pilots will end up sacrificing for management shortfalls.
The last thing I will will say is regarding MX, dispatch and operational control. I can't speak for how all other companies do things but I have worked as a CA for 3 previous 121 operations and have never before seen a disaster in the making such as this.

I'm just curious as to how many people are still showing up to class knowing what's in store for them? I'd really like to fly for Frontier but I can't justify the lack of respect right out of the gate in this hiring environment. No hotel? seriously? And 30 something an hour for an Airbus? "As i get goosebumps and the shakes as I stare off in the distance remembering commuting to ORD on reserve making 25 an hour".. NEVER AGAIN. The amount on my direct deposit can only be so little these days. Every other carrier meets that amount, so no app for Frontier. Good Luck guys. And Kudos to the Zeno guy for best Trolling of a pilot group for 18'. D**k.

And do you REALLY not understand the serious damage you are doing to your own career (not to mention everyone else's) by coming before a new contract is signed?
If so, I hope you do bring your sleeping bag. Hopefully it works out as well for you as it did for the last who tried it.

You do know that not just line pilots read this, right? The very pilots who reluctantly gave you the nod, can also rescind it based on the comments and attitude here in your posts. It won't take but a few moments to figure out who you are.
