Had asked a short time back myself. The consensus was, if you can bring a car, do so. Always easier to leave for class, get home, go out for provisions, on your own terms. Coming in from SAN, I figure i'll be doing a bit of Ubering since bringing a car out would be a long drive. Looking at Google Maps, there's a grocery store that looks within walking distance, south of the motel next to a Home Depot for reference. As well as a couple of restaurants in the neighboring hotels. Hope this helps..

There is no such clause in the CBA. Can you point to an LOA that implemented such a clause?

Fast Eddies is in the metro east. Alton, IL. Earth City is right on the border of the crap. We used to have our female sim instructors escorted out of Flight Safety after dark.

Yes there is a grocery store and a home depot. You'll have to walk past the homeless encampment to get there which is always a toss up whether you will get harassed or not. Also, don't count on the restaurants being anything worthwhile. The TGI Fridays in the Crowne Plaza may be the worst chain restaurant ever. Oh yeah, no hoodies, sunglasses, or hats allowed in the lobby of the hotel. And they don't have any cash on premises. Enjoy!

Can’t believe someone thinks those areas are near the airport area. Once you get out of the airport and outside of the hotel, you will take your life and your money in your own hands, especially after dark.

The company believes it will be early 2025 before they are forced to do anything on a contract. Recruitment will be via bonuses and other incentives that apply only to recruits. If they are already at GoJet the company sees no reason to increase the compensation package, pilots will either move on to a better job as they would anyway, or simply stay and take what they are given.

Gosh, sounds like almost every airline or rail road doesn't it.

Depending on the hotel, you might be taking your life in your hands walking the hallways after dark... including the Crowne.

Default Recent Payscale

It seems the pay scale on the APC profile is out of date, can anyone post the most recent? (Captain & FO) Also any details of the bidding system that is used and what life on reserve is like? Is it possible to move days off around so one could potentially get 4/5 days off in a row whilst on reserve? Thanks.
