There is no commitment . They will pay a bonus check every 15th of the month .
they will divide 80k by 12 months , then you will get that amount every month .

Is it worth taking a February 7, 2023 class date with GoJet or waiting until quarter 3 2023 to go to Republic, Envoy, or Skywest? How is GoJet doing now? If I were to go to GoJet I would want the Newark base.

There's simply no one size fits all answer to this. No way to see if you're making the "right" choice until it all plays out. There's no crystal ball in aviation until it's happening. People will come on these forums and bash you for making a decision you feel is best for you and your family. They have nothing to gain from it. You need to determine your priorities. Do you want to go to a regional that has a chance of going under in the next few years and gamble with that while flying a ton and maybe moving on before your potential class date with another more stable regional? Not saying Gojet specifically is going to go under at all in the next few years, I'm just answering your question in their forum. These forums are very polarized. You have the people who had a bad experience at the airline so they get on and trash the company, and then you have the unofficial recruiters who love the company and believe it's great for everyone because it's been great for them. Talk to the pilot group to see how they truly feel and you'll get a better answer. Me personally, I didn't want to wait 8 months for a class date. You can see where I went from my post history. I'm happy with my decision so far. Time will tell.... just don't read into the responses you get on here too much. Good luck

If you want EWR, Gojet is an obvious choice, and a great airline to build experience at.

Take the one where you don’t have to commute.
PERIOD !! Even if it means waiting a few months, you’ll be better off in the long run.

As somebody who lost their November (and then January) date with Republic, I'm inclined to say that a bird in hand is worth two in the bush, particularly if that bush is in Indianapolis...

What’s the word on current happenings? Training delays, reserve times, junior lineholder? Of all the airlines this one is impossible to find info on

Like others, I had my class date at Republic pushed back twice + communication from their HR department has been awful.

Decided to interview with GoJet in early January and had a pleasant experience and have accepted a CJO with a February 21 class date + aiming for EWR base. Not going to wait 7+ months for RPA (I'm sure it'll be more)...heard from friends who are FO's still on reserve there that they haven't flown in more than 3 weeks and are only logging 10-15 hours a month. Not sure if it'll be better at GoJet, but at least I'll be able to start building 121 time instead of constantly waiting.
