Plug it back in and start all over or look online for a code that will restore your levels. Who here is playing all 6 levels again?

If you've got to play all 6 levels over again, why choose the worst game on the market?

Dejavu 06-26-2013 11:41 AM

I left eagle . To come here , best move ever . Got a line 16 days off can't complain . While my peers at eagle still sit at the bottom 3rd on reserve going on 3rd year pay . Sometimes u just have to pull the plug and play again. Plus with all the majors hiring in a year and every year after that who cares who your flying for its just another regional vs another regional . And I surely wouldn't want to retire here . Just another stepping stone . Get in get time get out .

except now g7 is stagnating. no quick upgrade i think.

Lol good point but . I'm so young in my career I couldn't upgrade if I wanted to . But when I'm ready to do so the door should be wide open ;)

As for street captains I think that's long done For With no growth .

I didn't come here for the upgrade . But more of chasing a line . Having child custody battles when the judge tells you that u need to be home 40% of the month is tough to do , when u only have 10 to 11 days off and have to commute to work . I miss eagle but I had to go .

Not the new guarantee interview, that was done solely management trying to get more new hires, this was done about 2-3 months ago well after the BK contract.
That was also not part of Eagle's new contract. It was announced by CA Hale on behalf of AA on 2-18-13

Any news on how many peeps in the AUG class?

Newsletter said 10 new hires and 8 upgrades in August. The tailgate has slammed shut on street captains and quick upgrades. Unless there is new flying in the works a new hire will do 2-4 years plus IMHO before an upgrade.

What I would give for a 2-4 year upgrade...

I know what I wouldn't give!

I'm sure GoJet will bend over for US Airways, and accept the B scale Eagle took a stand against.

GoJet already has substantially lower cost, an Eagle B scale would have brought new hires to similar working wages as GoJet pilots. Why aren't they growing, why hasn't AA given them more flying? Why not merge Compass and GoJet and take over the world?

You'll see Compass and TSA merge before that. Hulas will never take a chance on allowing ALPA at GoJet.

This^

Hulas won't risk having a union at G7 that would actually enforce the contract.

flysooner9 07-17-2013 04:32 PM

Ummm yeah about ALPA enforcing contracts... Maybe it's better at your ALPA carrier.

Well, that's a terrible shame...

Window_Seat 07-18-2013 02:30 PM

GoJet airplanes don't fly without GoJet pilots. Every pilot that applies is making a choice. With nearly every other regional hiring there is no need to go to this alter ego airline that was founded on undercutting pilots within the same company.

JustAnotherPLT 07-18-2013 02:37 PM

You are guys running ATP and type rides for your FOs?

Get over it

chrisreedrules 07-19-2013 02:48 AM

I've got a couple friends who went under the promise of a quick upgrade almost a year ago. They are both still sitting reserve. So I'd say that stagnation has indeed happened.

You are so right. What was I thinking. I should have gone to the one that is trying to get a contract and are asking people not to apply so they have some leverage. Or maybe I should go to the one that flys about 80% 50 seat jets. I could have also tried the one that is bankrupt. If that did not work I could also go to the place that furloughs every year.........

Kinda funny how the worm can turn on you in this business. 6 months ago everybody was flocking to Gojets for the quick upgrade and you were crazy to go to TSA because it was stagnant. Now Gojets is stagnant, and TSA is offering upgrades to people from the January class. As Yogi Berra said, irony can be very ironic......

Then why on earth would you choose GoJet? Are you a glutton for punishment?

That place is only slightly above Great Lakes and about on par with Pinnacle

I think you might have just upset the pinnacle crowd with that one

86% of them knew exactly what they were getting when they said yes.

I feel sorry for the ones who voted no. Not the yes voters.

Even though 86% voted yes, I'm not exactly sure they knew what they were getting into. Most did, the others correct feelings were skewed by union propaganda for the super senior. Depending on how the SSP works out, you will see some very senior captains making 100K a year and enjoying 18 days off a month reduced to FO making a maxed out 37K a year while sitting ready reserve. Only then will they understand what they've done. But then they will just quit.

Flitestar 07-19-2013 01:35 PM

Most of the 86% just bought the Union propaganda of "Pass this or we're out of jobs" BS.

Some FOs voted yes to buy themselves some time before bailing.

Then there were a few who just saw something wrong with voting in our own pay cut. There's something inherently wrong with that IMHO

life is so tough

We've all been through furloughs and displacements.

If you'd sunk just a little lower you could have gone to Lakes and been a captain by now.
