I am. What I don't abide is jackalopes. I've been in this industry long enough, and have sat in both seats. There is no need to be a tool to your fellow employees, however, if said toolbag decides to treat me or any FA/ACS agents like dirt, they can expect to be called on it.
From your posts in this thread and others, I get the impression that you are new to the game. If you are in that position, I would council the need for discretion on your part. However, once you get some mileage under you, you need to stand up for yourself. Remember, contrary to popular opinion, respect isn't owed simply due to seniority, it's earned through your interactions with others.

This is same CA as I posted about before in this thread.
Im the Non Flying Pilot, CA flying the leg.
Tower: "Colgan XXXX start your base turn now"
Me; "We're starting the base turn now, Colgan XXXX"
Captain looks over at me, says "we?" "How about me, your boss, your Captain is starting the turn now"
I absolutely hate this guy

Love the Capts who say fly how you want...
But then proceed to tell you their way to do things, and even start turning speeds, heading, while you are the PF. Hey CPT, YOU fly the airplane, I'll just work the radios.(pays the same)
Unless you want to know the MVA for the sector your in approaching LAS, then YOU make THAT call...

I have had what you described happen. The business travelers know you can't say a thing and use that to their advantage. It's not worth te carpet dance. If there is time I tell the gate. If they do not care I write it up.
It's just common sense that when in the back as a psy, jser, or nonrev, it's best to not to prove a point with out the crew's or gates help. Whenever I can I get to the gate early and board ASAP.

The first I found out about is was a message from the dispatcher saying don't leave the gate. I called him and found out what was going on. The red coat ended up doing a lot of shuffling. The DH'er got his business class seat and we left...
