It does hurt if having a vagina would give me a couple more years seniority and top of the pay scale. Or even save me from beginning my furloughed. So yes it does hurt. Could be millions of dollars of hurt.

And yet, white males are getting hired at age 24 with no TPIC, too. So weird. It’s almost as if the “advantages” are being completely overblown.

Yep... they should just take that off the application and judge someone one merit alone. That way there can’t be any advantages especially since.... never mind not going there with ya. Have a good night.

I filled out a lot of applications and none asked about race or gender.

94% of those DL hired since 2014 have been white male with similar at the other top end carriers. You’re right, it’s so difficult being a white male in this industry.

What is the percentage of white male pilots? I’d guess higher then that. Hiring should be in the exact same percentages as the whole.
