Don’t speak such normal. It’s not acceptable in 2019.

It's higher than that as a pilot group, but the demographics of those getting into the industry have diversified some.

Still... seriously arguing against 94%???

93% of those being white male military aviators. Delta doesn't count, all they do is hire military.

55-60% are civilian. Try again. I guess ignorance really isn't bliss.

My class, the first class post-2001, was 100% civilian.

Nope just saying that having a vagina or different skin color is for sure an easier way to get to the legacies. So in turn being a white male civilian makes it a lot harder to get a job there.

My DL class post 2014 was 97.5% male. 95% white. And I'd say ~70% civilian.

Well, since the percentage of minorities is probably higher in regionals and other more entry-level jobs, and 4% of total airline pilots are female, you’re probably extremely close to that now.

But don’t let that stop you from feeling slighted.

TFW you’re 30.5% of the population and hold 94% of the new hire spots but still feel disadvantaged.

Is math difficult for you? What part of 94% don't you understand?
