Does anybody know what in the world is taking so long on getting official class dates for those of us being recalled? With spots open for class dates later this month, you would think they would start filling them and letting us know. But, then again its eagle....

Even with 1000+hrs of left seat time, I couldn't get my application pulled. You never know till you try, but look at those who have been hired at those companies, and I think you will see a very small percent of those with SIC time and no ATP are very few and far between. Good luck.
Well your right, there is never a guarantee, no matter how much time you have. Eagle Fo's have been hired in the past my Legacy/LCC's. I'm sure some will again. I don't if it will be me or not. All I can do is my best, point the nose into the sun. For Eagle to be a career stop for the next 40yrs for me, there has to be some serious changes to work rules and pay. Yes I do volunteer for the union, i'm actually looking at trying to get on the negoiating commitee. We'll see. I still believe our best shot at gettting paid more as an FO is some sort of Staple/Fence/glued/hung onto APA's list. Based on what I have heard in my time hear is that we are too expensive, blah blah... That doesn't bode very for getting Fo's a pay raise IMO. Secondly not too long ago during an LEC mtg in NY a certain MEC member apparently when questioned about upcoming sec6 neg. He felt we were finished. we're too expensive. Apparently those were his words. There is a reason CHQ is still flying for AMR. So you might see why I like to look towards bigger and better things. It is what is...

Isn't Eagle flying for American up soon? Uncertain times there too. Is it the whole ops or just the jets or the props, etc?

Waste of time with this individual as he's had a vendetta against Eagle for as long as I've been here (my guess is a previous rejectee).

Interaction with more balanced forum members on this subject is more productive.

To those hopeful applicants and lucky interviewees, remember that Eagle can be more choosy during this cycle however long it lasts. Previously, they had to fight for applicants when most regionals needed pilots and were hiring a lot more.

If you've been offered an interview, in all likleyhood your qualifications are acceptable.........and they need to fill these early classes FAST !

Once the interview is obtained, it's mostly attitude and effort.
