Dave Campbell is so out of touch with reality. Or he's a big fat liar.
Either way, the SLATE.COM article says the same, just in a nicer way. Time to go home for good Dave. Cash out, pat yourself on the back for getting jets back to QX, even if it greatly destroyed our reputation with recruiting and retaining pilots. We can't even staff our airline, and you said repeatedly at QX Factor that we didn't have a pilot shortage.
Pat yourself on the back for dodging all responsibility in the numerous big failings Horizon has had during your flickering tenure. In truth, a CEO "owns it" to which you do not. Rather, you own the next excuse to blame everybody else. Where I come from, you're known as being a "light weight"...

Also, how bad is this news really? I think I read that the existing lines will still fly, only with one less flight per day on certain routes.

Horizon Air is canceling hundreds of flights because of the "pilot shortage." It's airlines' fault.

Anyone have predictions on how this bad news on the Q400 side will affect the E175 side of the Horizon business? It seems unlikely using the jet to cover the shorter hops now handled by the Q.
