Probably anything that isn't SEA.
The overnights seem to rotate between bases from bid to bid and the trips seem to get built differently every bid, so you'll probably see most of the overnights show up at most of the bases eventually, and the trips can vary from 1-4 days long depending on how the schedule was built for a given month.

Hahahaha. I did the home every night thing, and going to the same places over and over at my last job. I like to mix things up a little.
Good to know. Thank you. I bid PDX,SEA,BOI, GEG, the MFR in my bid.

If I were a new hire and had the choice of moving anywhere, I'd personally go for Boise. I've had many overnights there. Great downtown, lots of outdoor activities, and reasonably affordable.
In my comment above I stated that Seattle has the "worst" trips. This may have been true in a historical sense (they were awful in summer 2016), but this no longer seems to be the case. I looked at the open time trips for Seattle and there were some pretty decent overnights in there.

It's generally a mixed bag all over the system. Part of the perception of a "bad trip" is based on the days when we used line bid so it was very common to get a line where you might get two crappy trips in a row. This made the occasional "bad" trip seem worse.
Also it's hard to tell what your criteria for a bad trip. Short overnight? Bad hotel/location? Crew full of slam - clickers? Low credit?

Having been on reserve for the last 5.5.years, I feel that I have a pretty good "feel" for what a crummy trip is (insert big evil grin). I personally hate deadheading and long airport sits, as well as "short" overnights. Most reserve pilots don't worry too much about credit. When we're adequately staffed (rare these days), you'll get min guarantee. When we're short-staffed, you'll be flying as much as you can stand. I don't really mind doing lots of legs in a day, as long as I get a decent overnight to recover.
The schedules have been really messed up this bid - lots of deadheads and airport sits. I've done mostly out-of-base trips.

And another question: do I remember correctly that you don’t get out of training pay until after IOE, and then you have to wait until you can bid, and then when the first bid starts you get payed the applicable min guarantee plus per diem. Or did I misunderstand something? I couldn’t find anything in the cba about this
