Frankly your airline isn’t big enough to need a domestic feed. So you can beat your chest about your “industry leading scope” while you rationalize accepting substandard wages while your management benefits from the highest profit margin in the industry. Yes, the big 3 have express carriers, but we also have hundreds of widebody planes. Where are your widebody planes and who is doing that Europe flying under your code?
Here’s a short list of your “partner airlines” listed on the JetBlue website: Aer Lingus, Emirates, El Al, Hawaiian, jet Suite, Cape Air, Lufthansa, South African Airlines.
The full list of 40+ airlines doing your international flying under your code can be seen here. https://www.jetblue.com/airline-partners/

Riiight. How Big was us air when awa purchased them? How big is Alaska? Shoot ATA had domestic feed and they were even smaller than that.
Spare me the “frankly”. 9 feeder airlines. 570 RJs. United airlines losing scope for decades. But hey! You were able To Protect those wide body rates for everyone that got 5 more years to
Fly them as you furloughed the bottom feeders. But hey thanks for the education about our international feeders. Something we’ve had zero control over for.... ah well until now. How long has United been giving away flying? How many international partners does the mighty united have?
Oh wait. I couldn’t care less.
Bye now. Enjoy your flying career.

You keep telling everyone else to wake up but you fail to even understand a simple discussion. That is not what coolhand was saying at all, and I bet you know that.

We work for a shady, bottom feeding company. We feed some of the worlds worst (from a US pilot's perspective) airlines. We do it for significantly less money than other US pilots make. If this is news to you I'm sorry.
Now, what are we going to do about it? All I can say is, that scope section had better blow my socks off. I am sure its amazing like all of the other bullet points.

I’d agree with that, had a few in the jumpseat who were blown away when I told them I had absolutely 0 aspirations or desires to ever fly a leg longer than 5 hours, let alone a “large” aircraft. I’ll stick with my east coast mail route with no regional feed.

HB, did I ever give you the impression that I cared about anything you said?

But then again you do represent the average pilot, although with better and faster typing skills.

You assume the message was intended for him to read exclusively.
By the way, do you have some kind of special mind reading ability?

Hahaha United... reminds of a story a friend told me. Basically he just retired from the USAF. Did a career fair where he had a United pre-interview interview. Some little 23 yr old RJ screener girl told him "he needed more experience to work at United". He's was an F-22 test pilot!! He'd flown everything from fighter jets to heavies, and not just as an operator but as an engineer/scientist doing stuff she will never do. My jaw dropped when I heard how ignorant and arrogant this girl was. It goes to show the kind of people they're hiring. He's at Delta now.

Facts are facts.
However, we're in charge of our own destiny. If we had an industry leading contract I'm sure many of our rockstar pilots could play a pivotal role in making the company excel. At the very least, it will attract better talent instead of just juicers.
The industry has a long way to go before being respectable.
